Born in Buntal Village, Stephanie Eng’s first exhibition was in 1965 when she was only 20. By 1971, she had had shows in London and Sydney. A master of traditional Batik, oil and acrylic, Eng’s pieces are prized. The bank, HSBC, is a collector.
