A member of the Singapore Watercolour Society, Marvin Chew paints in the semi realistic and impressionist styles. Depicted in his works are the play of lights and shades with bold brushstrokes, exhibiting an element of Chinese calligraphy. Chew has had four solo exhibitions, all held in Singapore from 2012 till 2020. The artist also recently participated in the 2022 International Watercolour Masters at Lilleshall Hall, UK.
